Payment of tuition and fees

WVU recognizes that typically students who receive the Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB) will not receive a “full” payment until October of each year. Therefore, a payment plan has been established to address this issue. The criteria and procedure are listed below.

  1. Student must have applied for and will be receiving the MGIB.
  2. Student must have submitted all MGIB paperwork in a timely manner.
  3. Student must pay a $50 payment plan enrollment fee.

Procedure

  1. Student meets with Janet Trump, WVU’s Veterans Certifying Official or Terry Miller, Veterans Advocate to obtain documentation that he/she will be receiving the MGIB (This information will be based on the application/certification of enrollment. The VA determines eligibility for benefits).
  2. Student takes documentation to the Office of Student Accounts to set up the payment plan.

Students who have been approved for WV National Guard or Reserve Tuition Assistance only need to make payment to WVU if their tuition assistance will not pay 100% of the balance due.
